19° International Festival of young people

From the 1st to the 6th of August, the nineteenth annual youth festival was held in Medjugorje. The theme of the encounter was, “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8). Jesus Christ you are my life (song)

About forty thousand young people from fifty different countries unite in celebrating and giving praise to Our Lord and the Virgin Mary around the church of Medjugorje.
